Dr Vicky Russell is Director of Walden Board Consultancy for organisational research and German translation. She holds an MBA Strategy & Change Consulting (Warwick University Business School) and was a PhD researcher (University of London, MIT MA) and a postgraduate in Law at Cambridge University. She was supervisor at the University of Cambridge in Management and Engineering and EU research professor based in London, Munich, Hamburg and Berlin (1995 – 2010).
She served as Lead Investigator and author of EU funded Anglo-German Research Projects on Organisational Strategy & Change in Engineering and Aerospace sectors (1989 -1997). She is also a Board Strategy & Change Consultant. Her experience in the commercial sector includes posts at Price Waterhouse Coopers; ICI; Shell International; Daimler Benz (Eurofighter & Airbus Divisions) and BAe Systems. Her work in the public sector has included roles in the Metropolitan Police Authorities; the Home Office; Higher Education; Health; Manufacturing & Engineering; Construction and Transport.
She has also served as Principal Officer Communications, Coventry City Council; Strategy & Change Consultant to Chief Constables of Police Authorities ; Prison Governor, HM Prison Service and Director of Education, Work Experience Service, Staff and Funding. She piloted the initial Community Service Parole Schemes for the Home Office. (1976-1989).
She is member of British Academy of Management and British Society of Authors and Translators. She has Advanced Translator Accreditation (Goethe Institute, Bonn) and is Group Psycho-Dynamics Leader (Tavistock Institute, London).
