Our Research
The Centre will conduct and administer studies (including collaborations with other partners) about Palestine across various disciplines, such as: education; economy; art and literature; law; technology; media; politics, and facilitate the production of world-class, cutting edge research about Palestine as a whole.
CCPS will establish ongoing research programmes and will produce and disseminate leading academic research about Palestine for the academic community, and as an added value for the general public.
The research policy aims of the Cambridge Centre for Palestine Studies are:
- To co-ordinate and conduct research across various sectors and
disciplines. - To conduct collaborative work by senior and junior scholars locally and
internationally. - To develop learning material informed by the findings of conducted
research. - To establish an international database of primary and secondary
material/sources drawn from Palestine and the Palestinian Diaspora in
order to support research and curriculum development. - To disseminate research findings through academic activities such as:
conferences, lectures, workshops, seminars and various publications.
Some Research outputs produced by CCPS will be in an ‘open access’ area on the website so that a wide variety of interested visitors can benefit from the material.
