Dr Paul Monaghan is a researcher and business consultant. He is also writer on political and humanitarian affairs. Dr Monaghan has contributed to TV, radio, and print media covering many aspects of race relations, community empowerment and the application of democracy in both Europe and the Middle East.
Dr Monaghan’s research interests cover: human behaviour, political discourse, security and voluntarism. As a former Member of Parliament, Dr Monaghan worked with governments across the Middle East informing social and foreign policy.
In addition to his academic interests, Dr Monaghan is also involved with a number of charities providing advice on social issues. He holds a psychology degree and a PhD from Stirling University.
