Dr Noha Tadrus-Khalaf obtained her PhD from the Institut National des Langues et des Civilisations Orientales (INALCO), Paris. She went on to be appointed Assistant Professor in Political Sociology at the University de Constantine, Algeria and then worked as a researcher at the Department of International Studies at the Arab Development Institute and at the Palestine Research Centre, Beirut. She has published several papers in Shu’un Falastiniyah and in the Arab Strategic Thought Journal, Beirut, (Al Fikr al-Istratigi al-‘Arabi).
She was appointed Research Associate, first at ERISM, Equipe de Recherches Interdisciplinaires sur les Sociétés Méditerranéennes et Musulmanes, Institut des Langues et des Civilisations Orientales, INALCO, Paris, then at l’institut Maghreb-Europe, Université de Paris 8, Saint Denis and CIRPES, (Centre International de Recherches sur la Paix et les Etudes Stratégiques),Paris .
She has been a Visiting Fellow, at Columbia University Middle East Research Centre (CUMERC), Amman and is a Research Associate at IREMAM, Aix en Provence.
She is the author of the book, Les Mémoires de’Issa al ‘Issa: Journaliste et Intellectuel Palestinien (1878-1950), 2009. She has published several papers in various journals on topics covering: The US and former Soviet Union, The New World Order, The Balfour Declaration, Zionism, Wikileaks and the Arab Uprisings. She is the author of a book of poetry in Arabic entitled ‘Leaves of Dispersion’.
