Dr Reneva Fourie is a writer, analyst and author who writes a weekly column for one of South Africa’s largest media houses. She has authored a number of books, including Negotiating South Africa’s Decentralisation Model: A Collection of Insiders’ Views. She is a former anti-apartheid activist and continues to champion social justice including for the people of Palestine. It is her fourth term as a Central Committee member and her third term as a politburo member of the South African Communist Party.
